Every year without fail, during this lull between Christmas and New Year, I start fantasising about heading to the mountains and installing myself in a beautiful log cabin. Think exposed wood, roaring fires, fur throws, hot chocolate, fair isle knits- the whole works. This year, my day dreaming has been fuelled further by Ralph Lauren Home's 'Alpine Romance' range.
