Perfectly Patriotic?

I walked out of my local supermarket in Fulham on Tuesday afternoon at the exact moment the red arrows roared over head from the direction of Buckingham Palace.  I stopped to look up and found myself joining in with my fellow shoppers as we all spontaneously burst into applause and whoops of delight.  It was a very cool moment and a perfect way to end my four days of Jubilations (Jubilee celebrations).

This weekend it felt good to be British and I was a proud Londoner as I walked through the streets awash with red, white and blue.  All I could see were flags, bunting and people all bearing our country's colours proudly.  It got me thinking, how far is too far when it comes to being patriotic with your paint? Can red, white and blue ever look as good inside as it did outside this weekend?
